Reorganise, Reconfigure, extend or new build?
May be the logical answer to the question when there is a lack of room in a house is to increase the floor space. However, KLA Architects can offer skilled thinking which may produce more economic solutions with either no extension or a smaller extension than originally envisaged, by undertaking a loft or garage conversion or a scheme with internal alterations and re-planning the interior layout and therefore reduce cost. Conversely, the layout of some extensions can be designed to minimise the amount of disruption to the rest of the house once the building work is underway.

Views onto the site, views out from the site; location, orientation, noise; security; the neighbours; neighbouring buildings; the garden; trees; access; sunlight; services; soil type; local context and architectural styles and materials.
