About Us
KLA was formed by Katherine Andrews in 2008. Katherine studied Architecture at Oxford Brookes University and obtained a BA(Hons) degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture. She then did a Post Graduate Diploma in Built Resource Studies focussing on redeveloping existing sites and reusing inherent building stock with a particular interest in listed buildings and conservation work.
Katherine completed her Chartered Exams at Deacon and Richardson Architects in Brighton in 2001 and became RIBA Chartered in 2002. She continued working in Brighton for five years gaining experience in a variety of sectors, most notably social housing and private residential before branching out on her own and setting up KLA.
Over the nearly two decades since, Katherine and her growing team at KLA have taken on projects large and small across residential, health, education, retail and hospitality. Katherine particularly enjoys private house builds and renovations, working closely with her clients and contractors to create bespoke solutions that enhance people’s daily lives.

“It’s a privilege to see our work make such a positive impact on people’s welfare by enhancing the built environment inside and around their home.”
